STANFORD FASHIONX RUNWAY * SNOWLEE

An iconic fashion show at Stanford Memorial Church with over 1,200 attendees

We were honored to collaborate with Stanford FashionX for their groundbreaking runway show at the historic Stanford Memorial Church. This prestigious event brought together innovative design, sustainable fashion practices, and the vibrant Stanford community in a unique setting that transformed the sacred space into a runway of creativity and expression.

The Stanford Memorial Church, with its stunning architecture and stained glass windows, provided an extraordinary backdrop for showcasing our sustainable designs. The contrast between the traditional church setting and contemporary fashion created a powerful visual narrative about the intersection of heritage and innovation—a perfect metaphor for our approach to sustainable fashion.

For this collection, we focused on creating pieces that honored both the solemnity of the venue and the forward-thinking ethos of Stanford University. Our designs incorporated upcycled materials transformed through our signature REP UP processes, resulting in garments that told a story of transformation and renewal.

The collection featured a diverse range of styles—from structured, architectural pieces that echoed the church's Gothic elements to flowing, ethereal garments that captured movement and light. Each piece was meticulously crafted to demonstrate how sustainable practices can produce high-fashion results without compromising on design integrity or visual impact.

With over 1,200 attendees, including students, faculty, fashion industry professionals, and community members, the show represented one of the largest fashion events in Stanford's history. The enthusiastic reception from this diverse audience affirmed our belief that sustainable fashion can captivate and inspire when presented with creativity and purpose.

The runway show was accompanied by live orchestral music performed by Stanford students, creating an immersive, multi-sensory experience that elevated the presentation beyond a traditional fashion show. This collaboration between fashion, music, and architecture exemplified our commitment to creating holistic experiences that engage audiences on multiple levels.

This landmark event not only showcased our designs but also strengthened our connection to educational institutions and demonstrated how fashion can serve as a platform for important conversations about sustainability, innovation, and cultural heritage.
