Our Journey: From Insight to Innovation
A story of transformation, technology, and the pursuit of sustainable fashion

The Beginning
2019-2020
Our story began with our founder, Snow Li, whose upbringing in a fashion family gave her a front-row seat to the industry's profound beauty and its flawed and fragmented supply chain and production process.
This insight led her to create the "Call Me Recycle" (CMRC) process, a hands-on method born during the pandemic to transform surplus linen into essential products and donated to communities.
The Discovery
2020-2021
This initial spark revealed a much larger truth: the textile industry was hemorrhaging value. A disconnect existed between millions of tons of premium, dormant textiles and the creators who could revive them for a new life.
Snow saw that solving this required more than just a process; it demanded a platform built on a new kind of intelligence, disrupting the traditional process.

The REPUP Revolution
2021-Present
To tackle this challenge at a global scale, we evolved. REPUP Design was born, merging deep industrial expertise in sustainable fashion and textile with world-class technology innovation.
We are not just another marketplace; we are powered by our Fabric Intelligence Cortex Team, our dedicated team of AI engineers, data scientists, and machine learning specialists.
Our Team: Fabric Intelligence Cortex
Our Fabric Intelligence Cortex operates on proprietary algorithms we built from the ground up. It is the first system of its kind engineered to translate the complex, tactile qualities of textiles into precise, actionable data, powering an AI matchmaking engine that cuts prototyping time by 80%.
Validated by the Industry, Poised for Scale
Our vision isn't theoretical, it's battle-tested and proven at the highest levels.
Showcased our unique blend of design and technology on the main stage at New York Fashion Week twice.
Empowered 300+ leading brands and designers, including Tommy Hilfiger, LVMH, Roots Canada, and more.
Successfully upcycled over 600,000 square meters of premium surplus textiles.
Championship Wins
We partnered with Clarence Ruth, Creative Director of Cotte D'Armes and won the Disney 100 of Tommy Hilfiger's People's Place and LVMH's HFR Challenges, we further explored creative ways to incorporate sustainability into innovative textile sector, proving our model's power to drive innovation at the industry's highest levels.
Our Vision: A Zero-Waste Future, by Default
At REPUP, we believe intelligent upcycling is the superior solution to existing recycling process, which is often costly and chemically intensive. Led by our long-tail vision of becoming the Gold Standard for textile sustainability, powered by our strong technical innovation, Fashion is just our starting point, and our sights are set on the entire $1.8 trillion global textile market.
We are making sustainability not just an option, but the most efficient and intelligent choice.

The minds behind the Fabric Intelligence Cortex
Sinuo (Snow) Li
Innovative force behind SnowLee Lab's upcycling design process
Snow is the innovative force behind SnowLee Lab's upcycling design process. Her career in the fashion industry spans nearly five years, but her connection to the industry began much earlier, having grown up in a fashion and manufacturing family.
What sets Snow apart is her unique ability to blend cross-industry perspectives. Including creating her own brands, her designs and creations are not just about style—they promote sustainability, foster personal growth, cherish individual characteristics, make a broader social impact by solving the real pain point of fashion industry.
With a foundation in math and finance from undergrads and her years as data scientist, Snow brings a fresh, analytical approach rarely seen in the design world. Her precision, logic, and attention to detail allow her to solve creative challenges in ways others might overlook.
Snow is deeply committed to fashion sustainability, with her career focused on upcycling innovative designs to conquer the textile world biggest pain point while empowering fashion designers, brands, and suppliers.
Max Zhuge
Technical vision and leadership for global textile industry
Max Zhuge is the CTO and Co-founder of REPUP, where he provides the technical vision and leadership to power a new standard for the global textile industry. An experienced engineer and solution architect with many years of expertise in full-stack development and large-scale system design, Max brings strong leadership and a proven ability to execute complex technical strategies.
